Chalets

In some of the 24 chalets the nature is part of the decoration - a great stone decorates the bedroom or the living room. Others have an internal garden or private porches, where you can appreciate the view. The homelike atmosphere is still formed by fireplace, whirlpool, telephone, TV and minibar.

Location
It is only 50 minutes from the city of Rio de Janeiro, 10 minutes from Itaipava and 20 from the Historical Center of Petrópolis. In an area with more than 150.000 square meters, enclosed for the Atlantic Forest and at the foot of the Pedra Maria Comprida, Pousada das Araras has a privileged location.
The nature here is exuberant. The gardens are well cared and they are one of the attractions, with green and flowers. In the available trails for walking, you can find monkeys, squirrels, birds and other small animals.
One hour from Rio de Janeiro, the access is BR040. The highway, considered one of the best of the country, it offers the route from Rio de Janeiro to Araras in a one-way track.
