Hotel Donati was the first built in the National Park by Robert Donati in 1931. German citizen with Brazilian heart and great business vision, he believed in the potential of tourism in the region. Pioneer and intellectual, Donati hosted expressive figures in the hotel like Vinicius de Moraes, and Alberto da Veiga Guignard, who left his extraordinary mark on doors and windows of the main house and in the small cottage where he lived for several seasons.
