Naturapura Ecoresort was idealised in such a way as to form an integral part of the beauty of this region. The resort extends over a beach-facing 43.000 m2 of land, covered by thousands of coconut trees and exotic plants. It has four private bungalows and sixteen rooms, all which are decorated with a touch of the tropics and built in a neo-colonial architectural style.
From all of the rooms at the Naturapura Ecoresort, all one sees are six kilometres of golden sand, covered by coconut trees doubled over a sea so pure that even the dolphins chose it as their playground. Nothing else. Only sea, sun and coconut trees. Sometimes a sea turtle. If one is lucky, a couple of whales. Absolute tranquillity, total security. On each end of the beach one can find coral reefs. When the tide ebbs, these are transformed into authentic natural aquariums where it is possible to observe the colours and shapes of the fish in their natural environment. Or one can walk to the neighbouring waterfall. Discover, in the midst of tropical greenery, your natural whirlpool.
Bahia is the Brazilian state with the most potential in terms of tourism. It has dreamlike beaches, a rich culture due to the blending of European, African and Indian people. This is reflected in the music - listen to Caetano Veloso, in the literature - read Jorge Amado, in the architecture - visit the "Pelourinho" in Salvador and in the gastronomy - try a vatapá de camarão (a shrimp stew).
Bahia is larger than France. It has a population of twelve million and around 1.000 kilometres of fantastic beaches. The climate is tropical, the average air temperature is 26ºC and that of the seawater is around 24ºC. Here you can enjoy 300 days of sunshine! While it is true that for most seaside and leisure destinations, the only information that matters is that regarding the beach and the weather, this is only the beginning in the case of Bahia. Bahia is something else.
