The Hotel Pousada Icarai has 26 one- and two-bedroom chalets and 10 three-bedded apartments, all finished to high standards. All have bathrooms with hot showers and the chalets all have a spacious living area with minibar, sofa-bed, table and chairs. Each chalet has a generous veranda with space for two hammocks (which are available on loan for guests’ use). All accommodation has telephone and air conditioning, and in the two-bedroom chalets the second bedroom has the option of two, three or four single beds.
The Hotel Pousada Icarai is situated right next to Icarai beach, Icarai being a coastal village within the metropolitan area of Fortaleza. The Hotel is on the coast to the West of Fortaleza, 20km from the city centre and 35km from its international airport. Within a radius of 1km of the Hotel are pharmacies, supermarkets, post office, petrol station and other local shops. North Shopping, with some 300 shops, amusement arcade, cinemas etc., lies in the suburbs just to the West of Fortaleza, only 12 minutes by car from the Hotel.
The Hotel Pousada Icarai has been built in 10,000 sq. metres of its own grounds and boasts two swimming pools, one of which is a swimming-pool bar, with slides and water features for children.

For children, the Hotel Pousada Icarai offers, along with its swimming pools, extensive grounds with lawns and trees and a games room with mini-snooker, tabletop football and table tennis. Just 120 metres from the Hotel there is a good beach with fine, white sand.
