Roccaporena is a village in Umbria, Italy, the birthplace of St. Rita de Cassia. It is also a guesthouse in Cassia dos Coqueiros, state of São Paulo, a city that has that saint as it's patron. The two cities are mountainous: the Inn is located opposite the mountains, 1100 meters above sea level, which ensures mild and sunny climate all year round. In this scenario the house was built resembling a Spanish monastery. The Inn has 35 thousand square meters of fully preserved primary Atlantic Forest. Wild animals inhabit the area. The house looks over a river with rapids, natural pools and 8 meters high waterfalls. It is an inn that mix sophistication and simplicity. In Cassia dos Coqueiros, a city of many waterfalls, the greatest one is the Itambé, 80 m high, ideal for rappelling. It is 15 min. distant from the Inn. Belvedere - The Belvedere, located at a 20 min distance from the hostel has a privileged view and a wonderful sunset. From there one can see six cities in the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais.
