Lunch and dinner are offered on request.
Sauna? Ours comes with a view of the sea.
Horseback riding will be arranged, on request, at the Centro Hípico de Búzios. If you would like to see Búzios from the water, please let us arrange a schooner outing on the Queen Lory.
Car rental? A transfer from Rio International Airport? Talk to us. We'll arrange it.
For nearly 50 years now, Búzios has been the chic-est, the most cosmopolitan, the most sophisticated beach resort on the entire South American continent. For general orientation purposes, think of St.-Tropez on the French Riviera or think of Easthampton, Long Island. But also know that Búzios has a personality that is entirely its own. Búzios is an irregularly shaped peninsula of intimate little beaches inside a score or more of bays, coves and inlets. By local ordinance, no building rises above two stories in height, so our architecture is intimate, too.
Nothing wrong if you like Hilton and Sheraton resorts. We just don't have them here. Our characteristic lodging is the pousada. That's the Portuguese-language word for inn or small hotel. Of pousadas, Búzios may have as many as 300. Nobody knows for sure.
Of these, Martin Pescador is one of the oldest, one of the most respected, one of the best. Come enjoy the personal attention we lavish on our guests. Come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of our slightly off-the-beaten-path location on the Enseada do Gancho, or Hook Cove. Come see if can't so fill you with bem-estar-our stock-in-trade well-being-as to sustain you for weeks and months after Búzios is only a happy memory.
