Urban Escape / Pousada Rio Bracuhy Angra Dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil

Strategically located between Paraty and Angra dos Reis, 200 meters from the Rio-Santos highway, the Pousada Rio Bracuhy provides full services for lodging and leisure for who is seeking to enjoy the natural beauty of the Atlantic Forest and the Bay of Ilha Grande in the pleasant and tranquil banks of the river Bracuhy. The Inn is also the operational base of Urban Escape Ecotourismo & Expeditions, offering outdoor activities such as off road, trekking, rafting, canoeing, rappelling, scuba diving, historic and ecological trails, crossings, boating, bird watching, experiences in Jungle shelters, courses, corporate activities and other.

Pousada Rio Bracuhy has two spacious and well equipped cottages with open kitchen with refrigerator, TV, and air conditioning. Each cottage has one double bed, a pullout coach, and a bunk bed, comfortably accommodating up to six people. There are also two other smaller cottages to comfortably accommodate up to three people, each one of the cottages still can accommodate an extra bed (with pullout coach)for a fourth occupant. These cottages are equipped with TV, air conditioning, and fridge. The Inn also features four standard rooms with air conditioning and TV, two of which are for three people (can accommodate a fourth occupant in a bunk bed approach; one room for four people (can accommodate up to six people in a bunk bed approach); another one for one couple only; and three simple rooms with bathroom, and fan, which can accommodate up to three people (four with the use of bunk bed). Except for the cottages which already offer abundant comfort, all other rooms in the Inn have a terrace with hammock hooks, providing a wonderful sight of the Atlantic Forest and River Bracuhy. All rooms have independent access. The Inn also has a TV parlor with tables for meals, meetings or acquaintanceship. There is also a bar which offers mineral water, sodas, beer and other drinks. The waters coming down the waterfall to form River Bracuhy are appropriate for bath, besides being used as activities stage by the Inn. The Inn owns it's own parking lot.
